Privacy policy

What data we process

• When you buy: your email address and payment details are processed by our payment provider Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Legal basis: performance of contract. Purchase records are kept as long as Swedish accounting law requires (7 years). Our sales statistics also record where the visit came from (for example a search engine or an ad campaign) — without cookies. About a week after your purchase we may email one (1) question about how the book has worked for you — legal basis: legitimate interest, and your reply is never shown as a review without your explicit yes.
• When you sign up for updates or the free sample: your email address, to send you the sample and a short email series (three emails). Legal basis: consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email, or by emailing us.
• When you start a purchase: if you enter your email address at checkout but do not complete the purchase, we may send one (1) reminder. Legal basis: legitimate interest. There will be no more than that.
• Visitor statistics: we keep anonymous, aggregated statistics (page, country, traffic source, device type). No cookies are used for this, no IP addresses are stored, and the data cannot be tied to you as a person.

• Stripe (payments) — see Stripe's privacy policy.
• Vercel (hosting of the website).
• Resend (sends the emails you asked for, on our behalf).
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — only if you consented to ad measurement, see Cookies below.

We never sell your data.

Cookies

We set no marketing cookies without your consent. Our ordinary visitor statistics above are cookie-free. During payment, Stripe may set cookies that are necessary to complete the purchase securely.

When we run ads, a cookie banner lets you choose. If you say yes, Meta's (Facebook/Instagram) pixel loads and uses cookies to measure how our ads perform — events such as page views and purchases are then shared with Meta (your email address, if any, is sent only in encrypted, hashed form). If you say no, or see no banner at all, the pixel never loads and no such cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's storage for this site.

Your rights

You have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to withdraw consent. Email klimakteriehandboken@gmail.com and we will help you. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
